The published initial consultation is 45 minutes and includes a clinical history, appropriate orthopaedic and neurological examinations, and discussion of a management plan. Treatment options are explained according to your assessment.

Your practitioner will explain proposed treatment options, expected sensations, possible risks and alternatives before proceeding. The experience differs depending on the person and technique; ask any questions during your assessment.

An initial consultation is listed at $150 for 45 minutes, a standard follow-up at $90 for 15 minutes, and an extended follow-up at $135 for 30 minutes. Your private health-fund extras policy may cover part of eligible services; check with your fund.
